Right now, “My N Mi” as of today just five short videos displaying amazing capabilities with Lilliput size where the printer is no larger than a human thumb or two coins. Common off-the-shelf printers are usually table-top size no larger than a delivery box and no smaller than a toaster, larger and smaller printers are available but are less common or more expensive. If “My N Mi” decides to make the printer commercially available, it is quite possible that customers will be interested as economic first step to accessing SLA resin printers.
Resin printers, unlike common FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling), is usually associated with plastic extrusions via plastic heated and molded layer by layer. To move beyond FDM, it can be expensive, so having a cheap economic way to introduce alternate, more advanced or higher-resolution prints is opportunity for everyone. The printer is theorized to be simple wood, plastic and metal with USB port at the rear. Operationally, a syringe worth of resin is all that is required for a single print and a little patience, just a little.
