3D Printed Vegan Meat Producer Partners With Europe’s Biggest Giraudi Meats
The plant-based food provider and food 3D printing company has been investing time and research in the last few years developing a tasty alternative to animals. In 2020 they achieved a production rate of 10kf per hour, while exploring muscle structure in order to best replicate meat selections from the type of cut to the animal in question. Redifine will be providing their meat alternative products to Girauldi’s restaurant chain, Beefbar has been established all over Europe. Part of the partnership success rapid expansion comes from a $135 million funding round made in the beginning of the year.
Redefine Meats is an Israeli company exploring plant-based meat with a focus on improving the environment and helping animals. Redefine Meats promotes meat alternative but also competitive tastes. Giraudi first started in the 1960’s exported Dutch veal to Italy and Giraudi International SAM up to expand to several fronts with exclusive meat importers. Giraudi is specialized in buying, selling and commercializing any chilled or frozen meats from around the world. Giraudi would rise to become the largest European importer of hormone-free Black Angus beef from the United States and in 2014, Giraudi became the first importer of certified Japanese Kobe beef into Europe.
